How it works

Three steps. Under a minute.

No technical skills. No software install. Just a YouTube link and a target language.

1

Paste a YouTube link

We pull the transcript with all original timecodes. Auto-generated captions and uploaded subtitles both work.

2

Pick a language

20+ supported. AI translates the entire transcript in one pass — keeps terminology, names, and tone consistent across the whole video.

3

Download .srt

Ready-to-upload subtitle file with the original timecodes. Drag it into YouTube Studio in 30 seconds.

Why not auto-translate

YouTube's translator misses context. We don't.

YouTube reads one sentence at a time. We read the whole video — that's why our subs sound like a real translator wrote them.

FAQ

Things people ask.

Which languages are supported?
English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Arabic, Hindi, Turkish, Swedish, Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, and Ukrainian. More on request.
How is this better than YouTube auto-translate?
YouTube translates one sentence at a time with no context. We send the whole transcript to the AI in one pass with a context summary, so terminology, names, and tone stay consistent. If a chunk drops lines, we re-translate just that chunk automatically.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — one video, up to 10 minutes long, no signup. Paste a link and see the quality before you spend a cent.
How does pricing actually work?
Two paths. Anonymous: pay $0.99 per video on the spot via Stripe. Logged in: top up a credit wallet once with bonus credits (up to 40% extra at the largest top-up). Both options bill in USD, both let you walk away with no commitments.
Do credits expire?
No. Once you top up, your credits sit in your wallet until you use them. No monthly burn, no rollover surprises.
What if a translation fails?
Our system runs on 4 AI providers in a fallback chain — Gemini, xAI Grok, OpenAI, and Anthropic. If one is down or rate-limited, the next takes over. You don't notice. If everything fails, you don't get charged.
What about really long videos?
No length limit. Our chunked translator handles 5-hour lectures the same way it handles 5-minute clips. Long videos cost a bit more — pricing scales with the character count of the transcript.
Can I upload to YouTube directly?
For now, you download the .srt file and upload it manually via YouTube Studio. Takes about 30 seconds. Direct upload via YouTube OAuth is on the roadmap for logged-in users.

Ready when you are.
